Tables Graces

(Paul and I wrote down the table graces we remembered saying as kids. If you have others, please share these with us.)

We thank thee, Lord, for this our food,
For health and strength and every good.
These mercies bless and grant that we
May dwell in Paradise with thee.

God is great, God is good,
Let us thank Him for our food.
By His hand we all are fed,
Give us, Lord, our daily bread.

Thank you for the world so sweet,
Thank you for the food we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing,
Thank you, God, for everything.

Praise the Savior, we who love him,
Who can tell how much we owe Him?
Gladly let us render to Him
All we have and all we are.

"Come and dine," the Master calleth,
"Come and dine."
You may feast at Jesus' table all the time.
He who fed the multitude,
Turned the water into wine,
To the hungry calleth now,
"Come and dine."

Come, Lord Jesus, be our guest,
And let this food to us be blessed.
Blessed be God, who is our Bread;
May all the world be clothed and fed.

Be present at our table, Lord;
Be here and everywhere adored.
These mercies bless, and grant that we
May feast in fellowship with thee.

For health and strength and daily food,
We praise thy name, O Lord.

In a world where so many are hungry,
May we eat this food with thankful hearts;
In a world where so many are lonely,
May we share our friendship with joyful hearts.

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him, all creatures here below,
Praise Him above, ye heavenly hosts,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Amen.
