Jo's Whole Wheat Honey Bread

This is my favorite bread recipe. I got it years ago from a neighbor in Elgin who was really into natural foods, including goat's milk.


Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Knead 5 - 8 minutes.
  2. Place in greased bowl, turning. Cover.
  3. Rise 1 hour until double.
  4. Punch down. Divide in half and put into loaf pans. Cover.
  5. Rise 45 minutes.
  6. Bake 35 - 40 minutes at 350'. (Mine usually takes a bit longer; check if done by thumping on bottom of bread for hollow sound.)
  7. Enjoy!
