Cranberry Salad

This is the Cranberry Salad recipe that Mom used to always make. I think it was originally Grandma Jungas' recipe---right? Betty sent it in so we can keep this traditional dish going at Thanksgiving. Betty says, "This is a very pretty salad and ever so good."

  1. Cook 2 pkg cranberries according to the directions on the package. (Usually this is 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water per package). Cool.
  2. Crush graham crackers
  3. Whip 2 pints of whipping cream; add sugar to sweeten to taste.
  4. Layer the cranberries, crushed graham crackers and whipped cream ( sweetened), and then add another layer of these three things. Sprinkle graham crackers on top.
  5. Chill.
