Cincinnati Chili

I fell in love with Cincinnati Chili while on tour. I hope you enjoy this easy to make version.

  1. Crumble raw hamburger (do not brown) into water, add all ingredients. Bring to boil, then simmer for 3 hours.
  2. Remove garlic toe and bay leaves.
  3. Add whole red peppers, if desired, for spicier taste.
  4. Serve over spaghetti and sprinkle generously with grated cheddar cheese, chopped onion and oyster crackers.
