Betty's Baked Apples with Brandy

Betty made these when some of us were visiting; they are SO delicious! - Jo


Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Scoop out the center part of the apple, making a hole about 1 inch wide
  2. Place apples in a baking dish
  3. Sprinkle a little white sugar into the apple holes
  4. Put in about 2 tsp. of brown sugar per apple
  5. Pour a little brandy into the hole
  6. Bake in the oven at about 325' until the apples are as soft as you like them
  7. Place in dishes and pour the carmelized juice from the bottom of the baking dish over the apples
  8. Top with whipping cream; Delicious!
